Traveling to Göttingen

Getting here on foot or by bike:
Please refer to the images at the bottom of the page.

Getting here by car:
If you visit us by car, please let us know in advance. We can provide you with access to a non-public car park right next to our offices. The entrance gate is here. You need to approach the car park from the west (“Papendiek”). The last few meters are in a pedestrian street.

Recommendation: Enter this location into Google Maps. Once you arrive, turn right and continue along the pedestrian street for about 100 meters until you see a large metal gate to a car park on your left (see the red car in the photo above). Don’t enter the car park address, as Google won’t suggest the correct route (Google doesn’t know that driving is allowed to reach the car park).

Getting here by train:
Walking from the train station only takes a few minutes. See here.
Göttingen is well connected, with direct trains to Hannover (30 min), Frankfurt (2h), Berlin (2h), and Munich (4h). See here.

Getting here by plane:
It is probably easiest to fly to Frankfurt (“FRA“) or Hannover (“HAJ“) and take the fast train to Göttingen.
