Yiwei Wang
Doctoral Researcher

BIOGRAPHY
Yiwei Wang is currently a doctoral researcher at GippLab, the Chair for Scientific Information Analytics, at Universität Göttingen, under the supervision of Dr. Jan Philip Wahle and PD Dr. Terry Ruas. His PhD programme is part of the EDIKILEX Verbundprojekt. His research focuses on Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.
Before joining GippLab, he was a research associate at UKP Lab, at Technische Universität Darmstadt. He earned his Master’s degree in Speech and Language Processing from Universität Konstanz, where he was supervised by Prof. Dr. Prof. Andreas Spitz and Prof. Dr. Diego Frassinelli. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Germanic Linguistics with a specialisation in Computational Linguistics from Nankai University, during which he spent a significant exchange year at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena.
